These Terms govern your use of the websites, applications, and services provided by Hite Labs LLC ("Hite Labs," "we," "us"), including hite-labs.com and our subdomains (the "Services"). By purchasing a subscription or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
Hite Labs builds and hosts a single-page business website for your company. A standard subscription includes:
Content changes are not included in the subscription. Changes to your website after launch are available at our published rates, or under an optional monthly maintenance plan. Current pricing for both is available on request.
We may decline to register a particular domain name if it is unavailable, priced above our standard threshold, or flagged as premium. We will work with you to select an alternative.
The subscription fee is $499 per year, billed in advance. Your subscription runs for twelve months from the date of purchase and renews automatically for successive twelve-month terms at the then-current rate unless cancelled.
We will notify you before any change to your renewal rate.
Additional work — content changes, added pages, or other requests — is billed separately at the rate quoted before the work begins.
Fees are non-refundable except as described in Section 3.
You may cancel at any time by contacting us at hi@hite-labs.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current term; your site remains live through that date and is then taken offline.
Your domain is yours to take. We register your domain on your behalf and hold it in our registrar account (Namecheap) while you're a subscriber, with the registration in Hite Labs' name. We will never hold a domain name to retain a client. On cancellation — or any time you ask — we will transfer the domain into a Namecheap account of your own at no charge, provided your account is current. You'll receive an email invitation to accept the transfer; if you don't already have a Namecheap account, the email lets you create one. The transfer is free and takes effect immediately. We will not hold a domain name to retain a client.
We may suspend or terminate service for non-payment, for violation of these Terms, or for content that is unlawful.
You retain ownership of the logos, photographs, text, and other materials you provide ("Your Content"). You grant Hite Labs a license to use, reproduce, modify, and publish Your Content for the purpose of building, hosting, and maintaining your website.
You represent that you have the right to provide Your Content — including the right to use any photographs of completed work, and any necessary permission from property owners or photographers. You agree to indemnify Hite Labs against claims arising from Your Content.
We may display your website and business name as an example of our work in our own marketing unless you ask us not to.
Hite Labs retains ownership of the underlying templates, code, design systems, and tooling used to build your website. Your subscription grants you the right to use your website while it is active; it does not transfer ownership of that underlying work.
Where your website displays ratings or review information originating from a third-party platform, that information is presented as published by that platform. We do not control it, edit it, or guarantee its accuracy or continued availability.
If you provide your mobile number and check the consent box on our intake form, you consent to receive text messages from Hite Labs about your website and your subscription, and occasional announcements about new features available to customers.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Our handling of your mobile number is described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to use the Services to publish unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or harassing content, to misrepresent licensure or insurance status, or to violate any applicable law or regulation governing your trade or advertising.
The Services are provided "as is." We do not warrant that your website will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we make no guarantee of any particular result — including search engine ranking, website traffic, phone calls, leads, or revenue.
Any figures we report about your website's performance are estimates drawn from analytics tools and are provided for information only.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hite Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost business.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and notify active clients of material changes. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
