This Privacy Policy explains how Hite Labs LLC ("Hite Labs," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information. It applies to hite-labs.com, our subdomains and preview sites, our client intake forms, and any other website, application, or service we operate (together, the "Services").

Information you give us. When you purchase a subscription or complete an intake form, we collect your business name, contact name, email address, mobile phone number, business address and service area, and any logos, photographs, and business details you upload or provide.
Information from publicly available sources. We compile publicly listed business information — business name, business phone number, business address, category, and publicly displayed ratings and review counts — from sources such as public business directories and mapping services, in order to identify businesses that may benefit from our services and to prepare preview websites.
If you are a business owner and would like the information we have compiled about your business removed, email hi@hite-labs.com and we will delete it.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our Services we may log your IP address (which we store in hashed form), browser and device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We use this to understand which preview links have been opened and to keep the Services working.
Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and messaging delivery providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We send SMS messages only to customers who have affirmatively opted in by checking an unchecked consent box on our intake form and providing their mobile number. Consent to receive SMS messages is never a condition of purchase.
Messages we may send include: notification that your website is live, quarterly summaries of your website's visits and calls, service and billing notices related to your subscription, and occasional announcements of new features available to customers.

Service providers. We use third-party vendors to operate our business — including web hosting, domain registration, payment processing, messaging delivery, email, and analytics providers. They receive only the information needed to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
On your website. Information you provide for your website — your business name, phone number, address, service area, photographs, and logo — is published publicly on that website, because that is its purpose.
Legal. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
Business transfer. If Hite Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
As stated in Section 3, mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Our Services may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning and to understand aggregate usage. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Preview websites we build for prospective clients are set to discourage search engine indexing.
We keep client information for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations. Records of SMS consent and opt-out are retained as required for compliance purposes. Publicly sourced business information for prospects who do not become clients is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer useful.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting hi@hite-labs.com. You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any such email.
Residents of certain states may have additional rights under applicable law. We will honor those rights as required.
Our Services are directed to businesses and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated to active clients
